At Stormy Seas Coaching and Counseling, we offer a comprehensive range of services designed to support your journey toward holistic wellness—mind, body, and spirit. We serve adults through individualized counseling, life coaching, and executive coaching. Our executive coaching services support leaders, entrepreneurs, and high-performing professionals in cultivating emotional intelligence, strengthening communication and leadership skills, enhancing resilience, and driving meaningful, sustainable performance. We help you navigate professional challenges with clarity, confidence, and alignment to your values.


Across all services, we provide a warm, nonjudgmental, and confidential environment where healing, growth, and transformation can unfold. Our approach is tailored to the unique needs of each client, utilizing a variety of evidence-based techniques and reflective practices that align with your goals and circumstances.


We are also deeply committed to culturally sensitive care, recognizing the importance of cultural, social, and spiritual values in the decision-making and change process. Your values and beliefs are respected and integrated into our work together.


Stormy Seas Coaching and Counseling is in-network with CIGNA and AETNA insurance. We also welcome self-pay clients, including those using HSA/FSA funds.


Both in-person and telehealth sessions are available, offering flexibility in how we connect. Telehealth allows clients to access counseling and coaching services virtually, ensuring you can receive support from the comfort and convenience of your own space.


 

CONSULTING

Jen Wilburn, LMHC-QS, CIC, is a nationally recognized consultant specializing in Diversity and Inclusion, Accessibility, ADA Accommodations, and Leave of Absence strategy. With deep expertise across the technology and healthcare sectors, Jen designs and advises on complex accommodation and leave cases, helping organizations navigate the intersection of disability, mental health, compliance, and workforce sustainability.

Jen is known for developing strategic, scalable solutions that dismantle ableism, expand access, and elevate equity for individuals with a wide range of disabilities—particularly those with mental health conditions. Her work has guided organizations toward national recognition for disability equality while improving employee experience, risk mitigation, and operational outcomes.

In addition to organizational consulting, Jen trains and consults with medical and mental health professionals, equipping them to effectively advocate for their clients through the accommodation and leave process. Drawing from both clinical expertise and corporate leadership experience, she bridges the gap between healthcare and workplace systems—ensuring documentation, communication, and advocacy align with legal and organizational requirements.

Jen offers tailored consultation services for corporate, nonprofit, and healthcare organizations, including complex case consultation, policy and process design, professional trainings, and leadership workshops. Whether you are seeking guidance on nuanced accommodations and leave scenarios, building inclusive infrastructure, or strengthening cross-disciplinary advocacy, Jen brings clarity, credibility, and impact to every engagement.

MINDFUL MEDITATION ON THE BEACH CLASSES

  

In the popular and seasonal "Mindful Meditation on the Beach" class, you'll learn to harness the power of your breath and body to restore mental clarity and physical mobility through focused, specialized meditation exercises and gentle stretches. This clinically-based (non-religious) meditation incorporates techniques such as progressive muscle relaxation, guided imagery, and deep breathing, all designed to enhance your physiological stress response, mood, and overall emotional well-being.


This class teaches you how to quickly calm your mind in the face of adversity—anytime, anywhere. It's perfect for beginners or anyone curious about mindfulness and the meditation trend. Stay tuned for the upcoming schedule, and join us in the evenings as we practice being fully present along the shore, focusing on our breath.
